Australian Opal Pricing Tool (by OzOpal)
The “Australian Opal Pricing Tool (by OzOpal)” provides an $AUD Opal carat price appraisal (based on a custom database and current market statistical data), and is intended for use by people with knowledge of the Australian Opal Industry. (in-depth help is provided for ‘paid subscribers’ and OzOpal may provide limited support for users at their discretion).
The generated report does not purport to be a certified valuation of any stone for insurance purposes, though, if the pricing tool is used by a qualified and registered gemstone valuer, the generated gemstone appraisal could be the best supporting information available to add to fair market value appraisals, traditional insurance replacement purposes, superannuation, auctions or retail replacement valuations etc.
If a ‘subscriber’ is not satisfied with the ‘tool’, they can contact OzOpal within 24 hours of purchase by email (contact@ozopals.com), or via our contact page, and OzOpal will refund the ‘current subscriber’ their total subscription price (minus any duties or taxes or fees charged from payment gateways or institutes) E.g. at the time of writing this, Paypal charges 2.6% per transaction, and this will be subtracted from the refund.
Only ‘paid subscribers’ may use the “Australian Opal Pricing Tool (by OzOpal)” at their discretion within their subscription period. Unauthorised sharing of login details will result in revocation of subscription and forfeiture of any remaining subscription fees for the remaining subscription period. Any evidence of reverse engineering source code, copying, saving and repurposing the ‘pricing tool’ algorithm for monetary gain could lead to litigation.
OzOpal disclaims any liability for any “loss” or “damages” incurred by using the “Australian Opal Pricing Tool (by OzOpal)”. The reliability of the generated appraisal is solely dependent on the accuracy of input provided by the subscriber, based on their knowledge and interpretation of Australian Opal Nomenclature and general Opal terminology used within the Australian Opal industry.
